Synopsis

KIENYEJI is a Romantic Drama about Charles (Xavier Ywaya) and Cynthia (Nyokabi Macharia) - two university Students who fall madly in Love, despite being of different Tribes. As they face parental Opposition, failed marriage rituals, financial hardship and pressure from Tradition, their Relationship is Tested to the limit. Set against a vibrant backdrop of Ohangla and Mugithi music - featuring stars such as Prince Indah and Samidoh, this Film asks whether Love can Survive, when Culture stands in the Way.
